Satisfaction Guarantee

Body By Kate offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee.  If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may cancel your personal training sessions, classes or packages and will be refunded.

General Policies

  • All clients must complete required liability waivers and forms before personal training sessions or classes of any kind.
  • Client must be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by parent or guardian.

Cancellations

  • In Person/Live Zoom Personal Training Sessions -  No charge will be applied if the client does not cancel within 12 hours of the scheduled In-person personal training session. The client will be charged the full amount for a no-show.
  • In-Person HIIT Classes -If a slot is purchased for an in-person HIIT class, a minimum of 12 hours notice is required. The client will not be refunded otherwise.
  • Body By Kate Subscription-  Unused purchased months will be refunded if desired.

Refunds

  • If health conditions arise which prevents the client from personal training, a refund will be issued. In some cases, a doctor approved note may be required.

Expiration

  • You will have the same number of weeks as sessions purchased to complete your Personal Training sessions before they expire.
  • Exceptions (vacations, holidays, etc.) can be discussed.

In-Person 1 on 1 Personal Training

How many times a week should I live train?

It depends on your goals. Kate usually recommends two to three sessions per week for optimal results.

Is there a meal plan included?

Kate does not tell you what to eat. However, Kate will guide and inspire you with her exclusive recipes and ideas with healthy habits to make positive changes and find a balance that works for you.


What equipment do I need?

Live training sessions are customized specifically to you and whatever equipment you already have.


How will we communicate?

By phone, text, email, FaceTime, or within the PT Distinction app—whatever is easiest and most convenient for you.


How long are workouts?

Kate will program and work with you on exercising and corrective exercises/ stretches for your body specifically. Each session is 55–60 minutes.

Online 1 on 1 Personal Training

How will we communicate?

By phone, text, email, FaceTime, or within the PT Distinction app—whatever is easiest and most convenient for you.

How many workouts a week do I receive?

This will be determined in the initial consultation with Kate as it depends on your goals.

How long do I have access to the workouts?

Workouts will stay in the app at the scheduled time you are able to access as long as you are a current client. If you stop after four weeks, you will lose access to the app and workouts

Am I locked in?

The Custom Training program requires a four-week minimum commitment. After that, you are able to cancel at any time.

Is there a meal plan?

No, this is strictly training (workouts). If you want nutritional support, the Elite Starter Package is for you.

Body By Kate On Demand

How do I access workouts?

You will receive an email to set up your profile with the PT Distinction app. This is where you will access all of your workouts.

How often are workouts updated?

Each month will be scheduled with new workouts ahead of time.


What equipment do I need?

A set of dumbbells and mini bands.


Am I locked in?

The Standard Subscription is billed month to month. If you do not want the next month, you don’t pay and you will be removed from the app.

HIIT Classes

How do I know when classes are?

Weekly schedule is posted on social media (website soon?) for drop-ins and is sent out in email for subscribers.

How long are the workouts?

Classes vary in length depending on the type of workout but typically run 45–50 minutes.


How hard are classes?

Class difficulty and intensity varies, but don’t worry. Kate is always providing modifications for all abilities and fitness levels.

Where are classes held?

Downtown Clarkston for in person classes, or live on the zoom app for virtual classes.

12 Week Training/Nutrition Program

How do I access workouts?

You will receive an email to set up your profile with the PT Distinction app. This is where you will access all of your workouts.


How often are workouts updated?

Workouts are updated on Sunday evening/ Monday night for the week.

Monthly check ins on goals and how everything is going to progress or change up workouts


How will we communicate?

By phone, text, email, FaceTime, Voxer, or within the PT Distinction app—whatever is easiest and most convenient for you.


Is a meal plan included?

No, there is no set meal plan Kate will not tell you what to eat. However, Kate will have you log your food so she is able to see what you currently eat so we can work together on healthier options and healthy habits to incorporate into your everyday life. Sometimes tracking in an app Wto find out exact calorie intake. Working together to find a balance that works for you and your lifestyle.

What equipment do I need?

Programmed based off of you and your equipment Kate does suggest a set of dumbbells and mini bands to get started.


How many workouts do I receive?

This will depend on your goals and what you and Kate discuss in the consultation


How long do I have workouts for?

Workouts will stay in the app at the scheduled time you are able to access as long as you are a current client if you finish your 12 weeks and end you no longer have access to the app.

Duo/Trio Training

Does it cost more to train with a friend?

The total cost is the same as one on one personal training. It is divided evenly among the two or three clients.

Do we have to  be at the same fitness level?

It is important that the groups goals align in order for the session to be most effective.
