No Bake Energy Bites

 


Who else is a snacking queen? I am all about the snacks. This is a quick and easy recipe to have on hand for some extra energy as you snack. Eating healthy doesn't always have to be difficult or boring.

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup natural nut butter
  • 3/4 cups old fashioned oats
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp chia seed
  • Add in dark chocolate chips if desired

 

Directions:

  1. Mix up peanut butter and honey until it is smooth
  2. Add in flax and chia seed and mix well
  3. Add in oats and still until all of the oats are covered with the mix
  4. Fold in your dark chocolate chips
  5. With your hands grab the mix and roll into small balls
  6. Store in the fridge for 20-30 minutes before eating
